My name is Lydia Cox. As a designer and gardener, my goal is to help you enjoy a beautiful, productive landscape that reflects your personal style and meets your needs.

I offer landscape design services, as well as personalized edible garden coaching to teach you how to grow your own fruits and veggies. Limited on time, but still want to enjoy a harvest? Bi-weekly garden management is the solution.

Monthly, seasonal, and a la carte landscape maintenance is also available, helping to ensure your yard is at its best year round. My maintenance services focus on building healthy soil, maintaining habitat for pollinators and beneficial insects, and fostering a productive and balanced ecosystem within your landscape.

Is your property degraded or ecologically sensitive? Land restoration planning will help maximize your landscape's potential as habitat and increase its ability to provide ecosystem services. I also offer special backyard habitat services to BHP participants.

If you - like me - believe that we're happier, healthier, and more resilient when we're connected to nature and our local food systems - you're in the right place!

I was born and raised in Oregon and hold a Bachelors degree in Design, an Associates degree in Environmental Landscape Management, and a certificate from the Cascadia Permaculture Institute. I'm also an OSU Master Gardener volunteer and have enjoyed growing vegetables, herbs, berries, and dahlias in my home garden since 2012. I live in North Portland with my lovely wife, our spoiled cat, and a few endlessly entertaining chickens.
